We are currently hiring a Strategic Sales Director. The Strategic Sales Director will be responsible for the full sales cycle and closing of deals with large, strategic clients. This highly visible position will successfully interact and engage with top tier clients. They must be able to have a strong understanding of client’s needs, and determine the right set of Corra services to provide in order to meet and exceed client’s expectations. This position entails identifying, creating, and maintaining trusting relationships throughout the industry by having a strong network base, expert knowledge, and exceptional follow through skills. This individual is an enthusiastic and disciplined professional with strong sales and communication abilities. The goal of this position is to grow Corra’s sales and revenue, as well as our presence in the ecommerce industry by obtaining high end clientele and projects to add to our already proven portfolio. Frequent travel is required.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishing a targeted list of accounts to go after and being able to self-generate business opportunities
  • Collaborating with marketing and business development to target and prospect new opportunities
  • Working closely with prospective customers to understand their needs, determine the right solution and set of Corra services to provide 
  • Tight collaboration with Corra’s delivery team to customize services and formulate pricing proposals
  • Fully running the sales cycle and closing the deal 
  • Facilitating a strong sales handoff process with the delivery team to ensure high quality execution of the project and services 
  • Working closely with key partners to pass leads and orchestrate a collaborative sales process with joint prospective customers 
  • Networking and attending key events and tradeshows 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Direct sales experience in the professional services or ecommerce software space
  • Understand the nuances of the eCommerce sector, including market trends, consumer behavior, popular platforms and best practices
  • Proven success in a previous sales position 
  • A strong hunter mentality as well as a target oriented and results driven individual
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Passion and curiosity to learn is a major part of our company culture and will be required to be a successful team member 
  • Significant and actionable executive relationships within digital commerce
  • Possess technical proficiency in relevant tools, software, and technologies commonly used in eCommerce
  • Combine creativity with analytical thinking to develop innovative solutions tailored to each prospect's unique needs.
  • Communicate effectively with prospects to understand their goals, challenges, and requirements. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations based on your expertise and industry knowledge. 
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and oversee deal cycles. Coordinate with internal teams or external partners to ensure timely delivery and successful outcomes.
  • A strong understanding of headless architecture and progressive web apps a major plus
  • Familiarity with Shopify Plus, optimization services (CRO, SEO, analytics) & other ecommerce/digital technologies & platforms a major plus
