We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a commercetools Lead/Architect. In this role, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert for commercetools, demonstrating profound knowledge of its features, capabilities, and best practices. You will lead the configuration, customization, and integration of commercetools components to meet specific business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Showcase in-depth knowledge of commercetools, leading the configuration, customization, and integration processes to tailor solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Design, implement, and oversee the development of scalable and modular microservices architecture utilizing SpringBoot. Possess experience with cloud platforms to ensure efficient deployment and management.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions considering various factors such as performance, scalability, security, and maintainability. Ensure seamless integration of systems to optimize overall functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, DevOps, and stakeholders, to define and refine architectural requirements. Lead discussions and initiatives to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Openness to learning NodeJS, TypeScript, and related technologies, and willingness to work on commercetools implementation using these technologies.

​​​REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on enterprise development experience, with a strong focus on commercetools and microservices architecture.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable and robust solutions within cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the capability to drive architectural decisions and mentor junior team members.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
